In season two of “Boot Camp,” senior video correspondent Graham Flanagan went inside the basic training programs of military branches and law-enforcement agencies to see what it takes to join the ranks of those who protect and serve their country.
Before the COVID-19 pandemic, he visited the academy where future Canadian Mounties are trained. And he visited Fort Benning, where future US Army soldiers experience their One Station Unit Training.
In the spring of 2020, the coronavirus pandemic sparked changes in training programs at the US Army, the Marine Corps, the US Coast Guard, and the US Coast Guard Academy, among others. But one of the biggest changes of the year had nothing to do with COVID-19.
